The NASC is the national trade body for access and scaffolding in the UK – established 1945 and now serving a family of 300+ leading contracting firms, scaffolding suppliers and manufacturers.

The Confederation produces a wide range of industry-recognised safety & technical guidance for scaffolding contractors, their operatives and their clients – accepted as the industry standard by HSE, Build UK, CITB & principal contractors alike.

SSIP

The SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) is committed to ensure reduction in health and safety assessment costs and bureaucracy in the supply chain, by making cross-recognition between member schemes as effective as possible.
 
Supported by the HSE, SSIP aims to streamline prequalification and encourage straightforward mutual recognition between its Member Schemes. All assessments completed by our Member Schemes are completed utilising the SSIP Core Criteria which is aligned to the Government-backed construction pre-qualification document PAS 91, ensuring consistency within supply chain management.

EUSR

The Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR) is the online register of training and skills for the energy and utilities sector. Individuals that have undertaken training and/or assessment on EUSR schemes or programmes have these recorded against their EUSR registration as an endorsement. 

Avetta Members

Avetta is a network of Clients and Suppliers, a service that manages and reduces supply chain risk, and a platform where it all comes together. Avetta membership is proof of sound practices, an access point to their network of hiring clients, and measurable access to real business savings.

Smart Scaffolder

SMART Scaffolder is the industry’s leading professional software solution, allowing us to design CAD models, create material lists, produce site drawings etc. SMART Scaffolder acted as the NASC’s technical consultants for TG20:13 and that expertise and engineering heritage is built into the software.

CISRS

The Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) has been the industry recognised scaffold training scheme for over 40 years. It is the preferred scaffolding qualification of all the major organisations including CSCSNASCBuild UKUNITE and the largest scaffold systems manufacturers.

CHAS

CHAS helps clients (buyers) and contractors (suppliers) ensure compliance across the different areas of risk management, and mitigate risks across the supply chain. They offer accreditation schemes that can help businesses achieve compliance, mitigate supply chain risks and support efficient supply chain management. 

Constructionline

Constructionline memberships are designed to help companies navigate the compliance and regulation PQQ process in the most efficient way possible. They align to the PAS 91 question set and offer SSIP accreditation via their health and safety specialists. 

G-DECK Partner

G-DECK systems provide a safe working platform and fall-prevention safety measure at every stage of a construction project. Fast and easy to install, they provide an access system that can be loaded with materials, enabling work to be carried out at height by every trade on site; from bricklayers, to joiners, electricians and plumbers.

CITB

CITB is the industry training board  for the construction sector in England, Scotland and Wales. Founded in 1964, they are now an executive non-departmental public body. Sponsored by the Department for Education, they are accountable to government ministers, and ultimately Parliament.
